This Car Flips For You

crash226.jpg

Yes, that’s right cars do flips.   Sometimes they just need a change of pace.  Riding right side up all the time can get boring.  Turning upside down is a sure change of perspective.  Although, much less comfortable for the driver, upsidedown cars are cool.  It’s not everyday that you see a car on its head. Maybe this car is done. It could be fed up with poor treatment, being driven crazy, or maybe just looking for attention.  Yes, well, seriously, I figure that the car hit a bump on the slant going downwards or something. I’m not sure how to explain an upside down car.

Car Slips and Crashes

crash2172.jpg

It is yet another snowy day on the road. Winter weather can certainly be dangerous. Slipping and sliding off the road is no picnic. I’m wondering if that is a pole or a tree. It isn’t exactly along the road, so at first I assumed it was a tree. Now that I am looking at how straight it is, I think it could be a pole. It still might be a tree, though. I can’t be sure because I don’t see the top of it. Either way, the effect on the car is pretty much the same. Whether it is a tree or a pole, the car is still damaged.

Car Hangs on Powerline

crash210.jpg

I have never heard of a car commiting suicide, but this must be what it looks like.  I could not begin to explain what could have happened.  How does a car get into that position?  Did someone put it up there?  Did it get dropped from a helicopter or something?  Looks like a job for the fire department.  It probably won’t be like saving a cat from a tree, but they can handle it I guess.  I wouldn’t want to be around when this car is removed.  It will probably be lights out in the neighborhood for a few minutes.

Car Leaps to Catch Boat

crash209.jpg

Every once in a while I come across an accident that I just don’t know what happened.  Not very many boat accidents involve cars, and not many car accidents involve boats.  Well, anything can happen I guess.   This car may or may not make a stable bridge for docking.  I suppose it’s a fast way to get into the water, but I don’t think this is a swiming area.  It could be that someone was jealous that they didn’t have a boat, and they wanted to mess up someone else’s.  What do you think happened?

Car Hits Parking Lot Tree

crash208.jpg

Okay, this accident seems to be near a shopping center.   My guess is the driver stole something and tried to make a quick get away.  Instead of putting the car in reverse to get out of the parking spot, they put it in drive.  In an attempt to speed away backwards, they rammed into this tree.  I hope the cops are on their way to catch the bandit!  There is a small piece on the left that indicates a larger vehicle pulling up.  Maybe they were trying to  leap the curb but had to avoid the on coming bus.  What else do you think could have happened here?  Or do we all suspect theft? Student driver, perhaps?

Crashing Face to Face

crash207.jpg

We can only assume that someone was driving on the wrong side of the road.  The question is, why?  The road looks a little shiny, so maybe it’s slippery and wet, or it’s black ice.  I can’t see if this is a road that has two direction traffic.  If it does, then the road might just be wet.  If this is a one way rode, it’s probably a full spin on the ice.  What do you think?  One car seems to be off to the side.  I’m wondering if they had pulled over and tried to reenter traffic at the wrong time.

Intersection Crash

crash205.jpg

Who’s fault was this? Someone thought they still had time to get across before the other light changed, I guess.  Come on, don’t act like you’ve never pressed the gas when the light was yellow!  I hope everyone is okay.  Looks like they’re in need of a new door.  Speeding through doesn’t always work to your advantage.  Seriously, even if you are already late, what is one minute at a red light?  I know, it’s an eternity and a half.  Looks like these people are going to be running late.  The whole point was to save time, but I guess the exta press of the gas was in vain.

Car vs. Brick Wall

crash203.jpg

It is kind of difficult to determine if there is a winner here between the car and the wall.  Both have considerable damage, and both could possibly be repaired.  At first guess I would say that it’s a tie.  Considering the after effects, there is a good chance that the wall will work the same when fixed, but the car might be a little different.  Depending on how sensitive the engine is, it might still be running.  Talking in terms of money, I’d bet the wall is cheaper to fix than the car.  After these factors, I am starting to think that it is the wall that is winning.  It’s open for interpretation.

Rolling SUV Crash

crash202.jpg

Did you ever try to stand on your head?  Didn’t you hate all the blood rushing to your head?  Or did you like that?  I’ve never tried hanging upside down in an SUV, but it certainly doesn’t look fun.  The top heavy design of SUVs and some hatchbacks just don’t allow for jerking the wheel too quickly.  These vehicles don’t take too kindly to sharp turns either.  Rolling around in a car has got to hurt, at least a little bit.  If you like the head rush, I suppose staying in the car with your seatbelt on might be fun for you.  Don’t stay in there too long, though, you’ll get a headache.

Car vs. Tractor Trailer

crash201.jpg

I’ll give you one reason why you shouldn’t cut off a tractor-trailer: It’s bigger than your car. No one likes being in the shadow of a truck and we all try to race pass them. Sometimes we forget that those trucks can’t break as quickly as we can. I don’t give trucks the right of way, I give them the right of “weight.” Trucks are bigger and I’ll let them have all the extra space they need. It doesn’t matter if they are way in front or way behind, I just don’t want to be next to them. Even if you drive a nice tough SUV, don’t play games with these big boys.
