Buick Rear-ended

crash213.jpg

This poor 1994 Buick got smacked right in the rear.  From the looks of things, it seems like the impact was a decent speed.  It also could have been a bigger vehicle.  Perhaps it was a small truck.  They got rammed right into the guard rail.  The owner was apparently patriotic.  (Check out the flags).  If this car didn’t have air conditioning, it does now.  (Check out the rear window).  Are those red lights in the back?  Was this a cop car?  I can’t be sure, they may not even be lights.  Cop cars would put the light in front, wouldn’t they?

Getting the Worse End of the Stick

car_crash_0197.jpg

When thereare two or more cars in an accident someone usually gets the short end of the stick, just as was displayed here in the photo. It looks like the station wagon was the one who got the short end of the stick on this crash, while the suv had any problem making it out of that accident. Accidents happen and while it’s never truly understood why some get an easy way out and others simply have things harder, unless you believe in the laws of attraction. Which introduce the perspective of postive energy working against negative energy.

Could the laws of attraction be at work here? Or simply that someone got the worse end of the stick?

Hitched to the Horse Trailer

car_crash_01901.jpg

More then the average tractor-trailer, this horse trailer being pulled by the Dodge, can do some major damage. This poor Buick felt the impairment this horse trailer can do, with his trunk now in his back seat. It’s easy to see how one slam of the breaks can affect a car in this manner yet it only made the ford’s bumper fall off, even though it was the truck’s fault. Where’s the justice in that? Well, he did get his assured clear distance ticket and the fines associated with that. So, I guess it is true what they say, “What you slam into will one day cost you.”

A Splash of Glass!

car_crassh_0176.jpg

It’s more then just a photo journal, more like a photo journey, to see a car accident being played out right in front of you, like the buick that has slammed into the side the mazda. I do believe executed car crashes need to be done professionally so that we, as consumers, can actually see which cars durability will fit best with each of our driving habits. This picture has sheds a whole new light on the way glass explodes like a splash of hose water on a hot summers day. And although I really can’t tell what that rod is that is shooting out of the car it reminds me of the still images of a speeding bullet right out of a Hollywood film, that’s pretty cool!

Family Get-Together

car_crashes_0122.jpg

Imagine this: You’re a firefighter and get a call to attend a two vehicle accident involoving a Mack truck and a 2000 Buick. Once you get there to rescue the woman from her car you realize…she’s your grandmother. Too coincidental to be true? I would think so myself, but that’s exactly what happened to Chris Watkins. I guess it was for the best, cause his grandmother came out with only minor injuries, judging by the picture she was really lucky. It could be a lot worse. What have we learned? If you want to save your family, become a firefighter. Or turn everyone into solid grandmas, your choice.
