Taken during the second world war, this scene depicts the aftermath of a bombing that occurred in Germany.
Volunteers and service personnel rush about to attend to the sick and wounded.
A lot might have changed in the last 60 years–{i.e cars are made with more curves and pictures developed color), but this scene depicts one thing that is yet to change.
Whenever a friend, family or stranger is in trouble, there will always be people with the courage, strength and care to provide the needed assistance.

how stupid are you, exactly? the car in the foreground is a mid 90’s bmw convertible. obviously, just from looking at the inside you can tell. it’s the aftermath of a head on collision. duh.
yes, this was taken during the E30 era(84-92 for cabrio’s)
also, the firetruck is not WWII era either. many of the cars in the background are also easily identified as post war cars..
That was my thinking exactly. The cars in the accident and the ones in the background are from the late 80’s or early 90’s. No way was this a picture from the 2nd world war!
