Race track crash
The grand prix is where you would go to see cars pushed to their limit. Zipping around in speeds well in excess of 180mph , the circuit is just an excuse for an accident waiting to happen.
And happen it does as this picture shows.
Fortunately though, as well as being one of the fastest, race cars also happen to be one of the safest.
A fact echoed by the safe and unhurt driver who emerged from this accident.
