Car parks on side

A witness reports that the car pictured was involved in street racing.
Apparently, he went around the curve a little to fast and lost control of his car sending it into a spin that ended with the car resting on its side and shattered glass lining the streets.

SUV thrashed

The dented hood of this SUV shows where the brunt of the force of this accident went.
The engine, as well as the tyres seem to have been badly damaged during the crash. There is no word on the condition of the driver, but if the car’s interior is anything to go by, then it appears [...]

Taxi and Pole

Going somewhere in a hurry?
Think again.  Taxi’s are notoriously fast when it comes to inter city shuttle.
To be fair though, they actually do manage to go about town with little episodes except the blaring of angry drivers.
However sometimes, they go really fast, that they qualify for pole position.
As shown.

Police stops for gas

There is something ironic about seeing a police car involved in an accident.
Most car accidents are caused by  a mixture of negligence, recklessness and wrong decisions–exactly the sort of thing which a policemen should not be associate with.

Crash puzzle

If you’re still looking for the affected car in this picture then take a look further to the left.
Next to the green bug–not the first car.
The second car.
That’s right. The vehicle involved in an accident in this picture is none other than the police car.
No word on how it happened though.

The black and white of life

With the christmas season barely a month away,  it pays to remind ourselves why reckless driving is so dangerous.
Press down a little less on the throttle and drink even smaller amounts from the bottle.
You never get to know.
The life which you might be saving could well be yours.
Seasons greetings to everyone and drive safely.

Pole position for a crash

The Pole never loses.
You’d have to be driving a Humvee going well over 80mph to get the better of a pole.
When it comes to on-road confrontations with poles, nine times out of ten the car is the victim.
Sure the pole might bend a bit, but its nothing compared to the large dent that the car [...]

In Blurs we trust

Yes the picture is blurred.
Not there is no obvious sign of an accident. But the motion of the cars, couple with those of the pedestrians show how easily there could have been one.
A second to fast or a second to slow and this picture, though still blurred, would have been telling  a different story.

Car Wash

A picture of a car that accidentally slipped into the wellington Harbour.
Fortunately nobody was hurt.
However the next time the driver fancies giving his car a wash, he might be better of choosing a less dramatic location.
One with more soap and less rocks….

Two peas in a pod

It might be a terrible accident but there is something rather aesthetic about the picture.
Shattered bits of metal on the ground warn us however that this accident was no trifle matter.
ALthough the hoods might have been dented, the engines look to all events–relatively intact.
That’s a good thing .
